Water boy meets unjewish like jeweler. There was never a point in this film that any part of this loose disjointed network of plot threads could be taken seriously. Adam sandlers trade mark dorkey grin front and center from start to finish. Who casts a modern day sports star as himself inside a make believe world made to convince us to reserve judgement? Too much to ask of the audience. Mildly entertaining.
