Saskia L'Evêque

The movie is cute, though shallow, with the stereotypical mean girls versus nice girls theme and a little gymnastics. The acting is poor, no real depth to any characters, but that is typical of movies aimed at children. It would appeal to kids 6-12 primarily, though some teens might like it. However, it is virtually unwatchable due to the bombardment of ridiculous and excessive film elements. Split screens are used in all gymnastics scenes, along with edge enhancement, wiring, bevelling, flashing, shaky cam and blurring. There are closeups so severe you cannot see anything, such as several closeups of a few inches of upper thigh which provides no context or value. These trashy film elements are very distracting and would be inappropriate in a student film project let alone a commercial release.
