SPOILER WARNING, So yeah, your favorite character died, so what. How he died is what was rushed and written poorly. Introductions to new characters that you forget instantly, the only character I really cared about I never even played as, it was Eugene. Crazy weed scientist. I didn't really even care for Ellie. Abby became somewhat interesting but the flashbacks were boring and a waste of time. Only decent flashback, were those of a younger Ellie an Joel. The chemistry with Ellie and Dina seemed very forced at first, then over time it kinda eased onto the player. That was nice. Now besides the convoluted storytelling. The gameplay is the same as seven years ago. Some new tools may be crafted and it can be pretty cool. Silencers on pistols and incendiary ammo are new an nice to use. Kills are over the top and bloody and enemies all look different, interact with each other as if they are all family. This game isn't all that bad. Just didn't hit the hype that it carried on itself for 7 years. Also, I feel bad killing dogs.
