As a big Marvel fan, this show disappointed me. I loved Wandavision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but Loki was the show that I was most excited for. However, it was not very good. Often, the dialogue between characters was very awkward, and some of the scenes were not well written. Also, Loki seemed very out of character, and changed all too quickly. He was supposed to be 2012 Loki, after The Avengers, when he was the villain, but in the show, he is nothing like 2012 Loki. The plot of the show was a good idea, but executed poorly. The first season wasn’t very good at all, but hopefully the second season will be much better. I will say, Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson’s acting was perhaps the best thing about the show. I didn’t like how out of character Loki was, but that was in no way Tom Hiddleston’s fault. The director and writers did not take the time to understand the character and did a poor job. It didn’t feel like it was actually Loki. The last episode in particular was very awkward, mostly with the dialogue between Loki, Sylvie, and Kang. The lines were horribly written. I had such high hopes for this show. Very disappointed.
