Ohh well... SSR!! Unfortunately the last one to your credit but finally it's in the wide network of digital movie streaming platform available for all of us. And of course many of us already watched as a tribute to you SSR.
Unwillingly but yes, I'm writing my side of review for your last one - "Dil Bechara".
Beginning from the scratch, as many of us knew it was an official remake of "Fault In Our Stars". The original story Fault In Our Stars written by one of an eminent English writer "John Green". At first, many years back I was wandering through the narrow passages of a well known book store nearby, in fact, one of my favourite one named "Starmark". While wandering and looking around my eyes got stuck to a bookshelf and found a nice book hiding beneath a pile of other books. I didn't remember what caught my eyes for this one but I remember I just picked that one and didn't looked for another that day. As soon as I got back to home I couldn't resist but to start reading it. When I finished the book I remembered the pain and the emotions I went through the story of John Green and still I can feel the same whenever I go through the story again and again. Now coming to the movie part, after completing the book I came to know about it's movie. I watched that and I loved that too. The direction, editing, cinematography, acting everything was so good to portray the character build up, plot build up, bonding between the characters, the pain, the sufferings and all of that where co-related and connected in the same way as John Green portrayed in the book.
Now coming to the Indian version of Fault In Our Stars... "Dil Bechara". Despite being an official remake it deviated from main plot. This movie couldn't even portrayed the pain of a disease like cancer through the protagonist character. The movie lacked the pain, the sufferings, character build up, connections between the characters, the bonding. So it already got deviated through the main course. But coming to the positive sides, this movie delivered an unfortunate and coincidentally but an exceptional tribute to our SSR. Sushant Singh Rajput delivered his wonderful performance as he used to do earlier but needless to say it wasn't his best one. This movie got a good humour and after awaited for long throughout the movie it finally brought up with a good and touchy emotion filming the last scene. At the end, the filmmaker could've added a better shots and sequence for the tribute to SSR.
As a whole those who haven't read the story and the original movie Fault In Our Stars would definitely love this one. But who already knew the original story and the movie might not like this Indian version.
Dil Bechara added spicy flavours as usual like a typical Bollywood film.
RIP
SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT
You will be missed and will be in our hearts forever.
