I did not see the trailers because lately they seem to spoil a lot. I directly ended up watching the movie. I remember Eddie being a bully but with a conscience, and Venom being somewhere between Villain and Anti-hero (a bit closer to Villain). But in this movie both of them are nice guys, have terrible character development, and there is no depth in the plot. Most of the time Tom Hardy runs around alone talking to the Venom, which is unbearable and awfully boring. Unless you need to sleep, avoid this movie. You'll ruin your image of Venom. 2/5
