When I was a little girl, I watched Lady Sings The Blues thinking that Louis McKay was a savior for Billie. So not truth. LOUIS McKay was to bit criminal. So mesmerized by the story a woman stricted by drugs. I said what a wasted talented! Then I saw this story. I felt the truth immediately. Billie had a true spirit. Billie like so many women only wanted to be loved. LYRICS "Lover Man Were Can You Be". Strange Fruit the lyrics can't be changed. These lyrics are true!
