Objectively not a perfect game, but subjectively one of my top games of the current generation. Love the storytelling, the secondary characters have depth to them, and the game does a great job of making me feel like an elite samurai who has presence in the world he inhabits. The mechanics begin simple enough and then eventually allow you to tackle combat in a multifaceted approach. I almost never saw combat as a chore in this game, the feeling of martial supremacy you can achieve against your foes is very satisfying. As far as the visuals go, I think it's safe to say that this game exhibits near best what the ps4 can offer, the natural settings really add a nice contrast to the brutality of the gore. If you're a fan of samurai, then this game is up your alley. I think Kurosawa would approve.
