Uhg I love the matrix movies but this was not great. Is it possible to be TOO meta, even for the Matrix? I think so. The movie is 2.5 hours long but half of that is re-shot nostalgia scenes or literal scenes from the previous movies. Some is fine but this was too much. Neil Patrick Harris was surprisingly good, I will say. And the artistry/cinematography was nice. Unfortunately the overall story was a little lackluster in my opinion.
