Excellent series on many levels. I loved the repetitive flasbacks told from differing POVs. Riveting. Reminded me of the famous Kurosawa movie from decades ago ( whos title I cant recall atm) which used a similar premise. This is not for everyone. It requires concentration and attention to detail.

Some great British actors. Very funny and much better than I thought it would be.

So many things to admire about this movie. The multilayered funny, smart, tragic, poignant and self aware script. Wonderful acting all around, particularly by Nicholas Cage who is brilliant playing two scriptwriting twins. He's mesmersing to watch. Plus the narrative is unpredictable and veers off into some intriguing twists and turns. I first saw this about 20 years ago and loved it's bonkers energy. Seeing it again was a delight. It's a must watch, particularly for cinema aficionados.

Rami Malek does an excellent job as Freddie Mercury and the other band members aint bad either. The movie focuses more on the music side and is a little superficial when exploring Freddies sexuality and private life. One could even say its a little chaste. Nor does it cover the breadth of Queens hits or the disillusionment and effects of constant touring. This could be due to editorial choices as I'm certain - having worked in the film industry myself - that much material was left by the wayside. Even so I enjoyed the movie a lot. rerecommend it as an entertaining watch.
