Definitely dramatic and compelling but definitely NOT a realistic portrayal of the occupation of the Channel Islands by Nazi Germany. Way too sanitized and melodramatic. I was irritated by the seemingly forgiving portrayal of the German soldiers. It was as if the creators had forgiven the atrocities perpetrated by German soldiers.
