When I saw that this movie was directed by Richard Linklater and it had such an amazing and beloved ensemble (Bryan Cranston, Lawrence Fishburne and Steve Carell) , I was sure this movie would be captivating. It did not disappoint. It was a pleasure to see the skill of these fine actors as they portray the moving story of a mourning Vietnam war veteran (Carell) looking for the help of his brothers in arms (Cranston, Fishburne) so they can accompany him to honor the life of his Marine son recently killed in Iraq.

From the American perspective, I believe it is an extraordinary work from one of the most turbulents episodes in the history of mankind.
