The reason the first film was so popular was the action/stunts/fights weren’t CGI and I’m happy to say there is a return to this in the main. Whilst the plot is solid, the reasons for certain character decisions and actions is confused, but this doesn’t actually detract from a brilliantly enjoyable ride that should please all but the most pedantic Matrix fans. Plot holes will always be rife in a film about reality. 8/10. Some good nods to The Terminator films which The Matrix series was a distant future sequel to. Although that means they never defeat the machines in those films though. Definitely a film for the cinema.
