I bought the game without researching it, thought it was gonna be a "real" Pokemon game, not this watered down version. Idk, I just don't get the point of a Pokemon game if they pretty much strip the game of battling wild Pokemon. I know, shame on me and all that but still, I really don't get why they made a game without the core gameplay of the entire franchise. Basically I feel like I wasted $60 on a glorified version of Pokemon Go. It's so boring imo. That being said, it looks pretty and does have that nostalgic value. Bring me back to the Xmas, way back in the day, when me and my brothers all got brand new Gameboy Pockets. Love that little machine. Tldr: get the other Pokemon games :\
