It’s best to think of this movie as a different version of Mulan and not the remake of the original. So for that reason I am ranking it as it is well. If I have to compare it to the original it would get ranked at a level 1. The beauty of Mulan is her ability to grow to someone who is strong and unlike any other men and women, but the movie almost gave her these super power she was born with. I’m trying to understand the producer and director but if you were to have read even some of the lines it was very cliche and predictable. Also I wish for the scenes to have been better located and designed. I am sure this movie was on a tight budget. But as a separate movie I do think it was well intended. I just wish they focus on her and her growth to become stronger instead of rushing through all the scenes.
