2nd grader absolutely LOVES these books. There seems to be vicious criticism out there by people who have NOT read the books and because they do not promote communism or collectivism do not want to read them but want to stop you from reading them. These books teach how people should be (Golden Rule is one of them) and how different government policies affect people. I can pull real world examples from our lives that show what is true also. Our boy can't wait to do the workbooks and will drop video games for these books...and that, my friends, is saying something.
