Although the film is decidedly about Craig and Margaret(Gibson's) relationship...there is hardly a mention, just a blip in the movie of the One person who was actually the glue that held Both Craig and Margaret together when they all fled High School because they were outcast misfits...her name is Shirley Flavell, she is the only survivor of the 3 of them....I never had the pleasure of meeting Craig, but met Margaret many, many times and her son as well.....
