The plot of the show is excellent and seems to draw from interesting source material. The cast however, is ultimately lackluster, with more interesting characters dying off as the season progresses and leaving only some seemingly miscast, uninteresting, actors left to carry the story (Da Shi played by Benedict Wong is the only exception unfortunately). This makes me much less excited for subsequent seasons but this season was certainly fun.

The horror elements and cinematogragy of this movie are great and there is potential with the underlying story but it is all very distracted with bloated social commentary and the result is ultimately lacking and leaves the audience wanting more of the good stuff and less of the bad.

Perfect movie for parents with young children and Mario fans. The pace of the movie is excellent and it suceeds in eliminating the fluff and long run times that plague modern movies. My 4 year old was able to sit through this movie without getting bored. The movie wins in feeling light and fun just like the source material while bringing classic Nintendo characters to life for a new generation.

Pick your build, grind your gear, test your items spend hours min-maxing your character - that's what this game is about. It's definitely a time sink and a high complexity experience but the elements of the game that are good are very good.

It's a niche, slow-paced ARPG game with repetitive mechanics and a clunky inventory system. If that's your thing and you are playing on a console you will like it but otherwise it's an avoid. The PC port is dreadful and made the experience even worse for me.

This is probably a 4 star game in its current state but it has potential to be the top competitive RTS game in the future. The new civs are more dynamic than AOE2 and lend themselves to more civ unique playstyles. It has a ways to go to upend AOE2, one of the greatest games ever made, but I feel like it has that kind of upside.
