Approx. 45 minutes too long. Cillian Murphy is a shoo-in for best actor awards though. That was a heavy lift.

Surprisingly smart with an inventive premise and plot. I thought I'd like it going in, but was pleasantly surprised at how much more there was to it than I expected!

Let's put the pearl clutching aside and enjoy this sprawling primetime soap like it's 1983, folks. It's not trying to virtue signal or dogwhistle, it's just trying to be an epic Michener-style story to entertain us.
