Like something warm and bright and kind on a dark day. Inexplicably personal and heartwrenching. I loved it, and cried at the end. No idea how the reviews on this are so low. Cinema's boundaries are meant to be pushed- just because the plot is very "out there" doesnt mean its bad. The acting and dialogue were lovely and delivery was always the right amount of 'purposeful awkward' so that it reached that sweet comedic spot. Loved every character and moment. It was a great experience, and it has definitely made my list for movies to rewatch on a bad day!
**looking through these reviews and seeing that a lot of the bad ones are not attacking the movie, but rather brie larson's feminism and efforts to embrace individuality and inclusivity? as if that even has any relevance to the actual quality of the movie. very sad that the reviews are being soured by these babies when it deserves much better.
