Right near the beginning, it says "I'm a high school junior wearing size 13 Nikes. MENS size 13 Nikes. Beat that." How did the writers not realize how dumb that sounds compared to what other people are facing. Like people are dying and Jody is saying that no one is facing more than she is because she has big feet and is 6"1? How is that a big deal? And she acts like people don't like her because of her height, yet she wears a literal janitors outfit to school, like a mechanic's suit or something, and wears a Hamilton-looking outfit to prom because she's quirky. She blames all of her problems on her height when half of them are caused by her acting like a weirdo. It's not just her character that ruins the movie, the writing and characters are just awful.
