An amazing graphic novels that deals with the struggles of having periods as a growing teen. This book seeks to decriminalize the menstration taboo and treat it as a casual conversation topic. The narrative makes it clear that periods are something every woman goes through and it should be treated with empathy; not disgust. My only complaint is that one of the female leads discovers she has a crush on her friend but the plot line doesn't go anywhere. It would've been very nice if the book discussed lesbian love as well.
