I’m always looking for a multi season series on Netflix and have found a handful worth mentioning starting with VELVET (in Spanish with subtitles) HEARTLAND, CALL MY AGENT( in French with English subs) and now VIRGIN RIVER. They all have a common thread that they center around a family with an interesting plot and great main and sub plots and characters one enjoys following. Very little violence, and primarily trials and tribulations of the families. I’d like to hear about similar others and am struggling to find something new. I’m thrilled Heartland returns soon ( not soon enough) for season 14. Virgin River for season 3. Sadly, Call my Agent and Velvet have ended. Both should have spin offs!!!! In fact Bambu Productions should find another beautiful love story ala Velvet. Several others by the Company were average especially Cable Girls whose ending was a disaster even though representing the Spanish Civil War. I can’t wait until Friday to enjoy 10 episodes of Virgin River. Hope there are additional seasons. I wonder why it takes so long for Netflix to get the licensing arrangements.
