Boring, boring, boring. It took me months to get through 2 1/2 episodes, I just couldn't finish this show, it's way too boring.

I love this show. I hope we get another season. If anyone dislike this it's because she is Black finding love and not a White person.

It started off fun and interesting but the more the story line came along the more boring it became, there were a few parts that made me giggle but I definitely didn't get in a good laugh like I thought I would, it was definitely boring and I feel like it's been done a million times before, this is what happens when you have the same type of people writing movies in Hollywood, bring some diversity.

The only people that really, REALLY dislike this movie are racist people. This movie is amazing! Every bit of it kept me glued to the screen to know what would happen next, I just wish it was longer and it broke history first #1 movie in the box office directed by a Black woman! So proud of her and this movie.

Not what I expected, the script writing, the directing, all awful, The actors did good but overall it was such a weird, basic, boring, dare I call it, "movie". The girl that it's written about deserve better, the main actress deserves better.

This movie was worse than I thought it would be. I was giving it the benefit of the doubt. There was so much missing in this movie, they just jumped straight to Aretha being famous over night, skipped right over her childhood, teen age years, struggle to make it fame. I couldn't see Jennifer Hudson as Aretha Franklin, I couldn't take her portraying Aretha seriously, she's a decent Actress but I only saw Jennifer, that's it.

The lack of dark skin actual Black girls on this show, the lack of diversity, the lack of comedy. I could only get through a few episodes and stopped watching.

The whole story line being a huge star fish trying to take control of humans, it was so cheesy. It started off strong but the more the movie played the more boring it became, it's no better than the first one, they need to put some women of color in these movies, it lacks diversity and a good story line.

From the very beginning it was very boring, I couldn't even finish watching it and I feel like they use the same Actresses in Hollywood, switch it up, it would've been more interesting to have a woman of color as the lead Actress.

Misogynoir, fatphobia, unfunny, never liked this movie, watched it once and it's very forgettable. He loves making fun of plus size Black women all of his career, that's why he's over weight himself now.
