This movie totally came out of left field for me. I thought the genre was odd for me, I always associate westerns with American movies, not a genre like drama or action which are not location based, so seeing a ‘western’ in a South African setting, so well portrayed , so well shot , so beautifully directed, acted and scored was a wonderful surprise! It actually had a story to tell, most films I see in my native South African languages fail in translation but this story while having a universal theme to portray did so while being a very personal affair for me as a South African. The cast made me proud, the director had a vision and they delivered it spectacularly! I love it!
