A harmless hour and half. Fx good for low budget film. Yes. Of course it is Moby Dick in space. But they acknowledge that right at the start. I liked the conflict between preservation of almost extinct species versus the traditional ‘man against beast’ mythology of the original novel. It had good pace. And I don’t regret filling an empty hour with something that looked ok with not too many plot loopholes. Watch it. Enjoy it. Maybe we’re seeing the start of someone’s career. However as another reviewer remarked. If you want good space opera, watch Dark Matter series.
