I also saw this movie when it came out in the theatre in 1970. I was about 16 and had never seen a musical. I have watched it every year since for Christmas, usually while wrapping presents. I even showed it in my 2nd grade class as a teacher, fast forwarding at some spots. There are some scary parts that might scare children with the 3rd ghost. Tonight I went to a former student performing in it at our local theatre. He has the most beautiful voice. It was so special. The music is so "catchy", people singing Thank you very Much" as they walked out of the theatre. Needless to say, I love this musical version.
