I haven't seen a good coming-of-age film for so long. Everything about this film is very original. The Asian representation and the LGBTQ+ story in this film seem so natural it's unforced which makes this film so invigorating. You can feel like the story is written from the heart and not just for making the film "relatable". I think this film is definitely along the lines of Lady Bird or The Edge of Seventeen. Additionally, the cinematography of this film is amazing too.
