The show is an entertaining 27 minutes of programming with 32 minutes of commercials and 1.5-minutes of recap. I am sorry to see the program end and do not understand why. I will make a strong effort not to become attached to another Tyler Perry production because the script moves slowly, and the seasonal breaks are too long.
In response to Mss. C.G.’s comments, I agree you have written an accurate account and re-cap You wrote, "The show is actually very good, however, the audience is left hanging on the later seasons. For example, Natalie's son was first jailed then hospitalized. The burger joint in which Natalie worked was held up, then her son was mugged, and the money bag was stolen...then no conclusion as to what happened. Next example, Eddie cut off a cop's hand, there was a video...Eddie set up a cop who had copies of a video and that cop gave the bag with video inside to Natalie to give Lucian...story line died with no conclusion. Natalie and Lucian purchased a house in which a murder took place. Whatever happened to the girl in the shower? Now, this last season is messy." Miss C.G., I agree, with creative writing, there is room for additional storylines and clean closure.
I think Mr. Perry has had too many active projects in operation at once. It has caused a disconnect in his soap opera storylines.
P.S.: For publication purposes, Miss C.G., I took liberties by making a few punctuations and grammatical changes to your statement. I acknowledge, every recollection within quotes was initially, expressed by you.
