A beautiful vision of what our world could have been like if power and influence had arisen differently. A fantastic story and film that highlight Asian, Pacific Islander and Native characters, beliefs, ideas and values. It was not a story of imperialist conquest, but a vision of humans coming together and faithfully embracing their spiritual sides. Not a story of "one" power or character defeating the evil. A story of hope and continued ancestral vigilance of a society of people. Also the imagery and animation was stunning and delicate, especially in certain moments.
