I enjoy this very much, if you like xcom then you'll appreciate it. My only frustration is that your soldiers can't die, only be wounded and removed from existing mission. It does ruin the emersion.

Waited a few years to buy it due to the botched release. Gameplay is fine, for some reason it feels very much like the one Killzone games, I think because you feel heavy on the controls aspect. The endless cutscenes are beyond what I expected and easily consume 30% of my playtime. If I was younger and had a lot of free time, I could see myself enjoying this if I played 6hr+ sessions several days a week, but with considerably less free time in reality I'm finding this game doesn't fully satisfy any itches for me and I've stopped playing.

I loved Red Dead 1. For me, this is the first game I've ever played that's too immersive. There is too much faff that takes away from getting on with the game. Too many different stats to manage and most importantly, the story was not engaging (for me). Every time you play, you have to spend 10mins just on personal admin. I couldn't maintain the energy to finish this. I can see what they are going for, but it's not for me.
