Stellar, top notch acting. Stephen Graham (the father, Eddie) stands out, of course, but I was equally impressed with Owen Cooper (Jamie) and Christine Tremarco (the mother, Manda). It was so grippingly raw, and gut-wrenchingly painful to watch this family deal with the reality of what happened. I have no children, but I can imagine that besides his/her death, your child killing another, and dealing with the scrutiny and judgement, is nothing short of a living nightmare. This is exactly what I felt watching this short series. Hats off, well done. Having said that, this also made me all the more aware as to how much the world has changed. I believe kids have it so much tougher nowadays than we did in the '70's growing up.

This movie was just what I needed - light, romantic, super funny (how amazing and real are Clooney and Roberts together?) and gorgeous scenery. It makes for a very welcome break from all the doom and gloom out in the world and on screen. Yes, the superstars carried every minute of this movie, but who cares when you're entertained. Loved it!

Brilliant British Binge-watcher! Loved it, great cast, kept me guessing, edge-of your seat stuff. Don't know what the trolls are whinging about (if they're even real people) but they can drag their knuckles out of their caves now and enter the real world.

Loved it!! Proper action, a good story line, a few twists here and there and a smokin' HOT hero!

Fun, fun, fun!!! It's been such a long time since I last saw a movie that kept me entertained throughout, made me laugh out loud, and whose main characters were all equally interesting and believable. Great story, excellent pacing, and amazing videography/special effects. An adventure not to be missed!

I watched this movie with approximately 1500 other vegans at Vegan Camp Out in July (2024). Not a dry eye in the educational tent. I am an atheist. I believe in Mother Nature, and that we are all made of stardust. But I do not doubt that a very special human called Jesus walked our Earth a few thousand years ago. Not a god, a mere human, albeit an exceptional one. And if he is to be the inspiration, the essence of kindness and grace and compassion to millions of believers, then I believe that this movie speaks truth. He would have had to have been vegan, defending animals, dying for them. What actually happened - the Churches actions in name of Him after his death - is the very evil that Jesus died fighting against. We can make our way back to his compassion, and his teachings. That is the kind of world that I want to live in. Thank you for making this film, for sharing it, and for showing us the truth.

They absolutely nailed it, brilliant! Whereas all the actors had aged visibly, Eddie simply got it goin' in still, he looks amazing for his age. Did chuckle every time he opted for some kind of mechanical mode of transport rather than running. I was enthralled from start to finish, perfect movie for the Sunday afternoon!

Don't care about some of the bad reviews - I had fun!! We need more silliness in life, and this was simple, delightful silliness!

I was expecting a cheesy romcom and that's exactly what it is, but oh my god, I haven't loved a cheesy romcom this much since Love Actually and Bridget Jones!! I didn't think I could love Sam in any other role than Jamie, but again, I was wrong, and adored him as the genuine, beautiful inside- and out, somewhat awkward (have you SEEN you?) Rob. The basketball scene was my most loved scene, my heart just melted. It was the first time I saw Priyanka and simply adored her as well from the start - beautiful, warm, and a fantastic actress. Yes, it's cheesy, but you will not be able to resist their love story!

Yeah, do not care much for the critics, I was hooked and watched all 8 episodes in two sittings, so whatever was wrong with it, it certainly entertained me. Loved the twists and turns, and did not see that end coming. So if you are googling the reviews, don't expect a perfect series, but you will not be bored!
