I love the exaggerated Nigerianness of this show! It's funny, relatable to both Americans, African-Americans and Africans (Nigerians like me). My favorite character is Uncle Tunde. Even though he is played by an actor who is not actually Nigerian, I think he puts a good deal of work into his character. He's super funny too. I also love Aunty Olu and Kemi. Abishola's mother, however, they have to work on. Her accent is absolutely atrocious. May she never speak Yoruba, the world might just end. All in all, Chuck Lorre never disappoints

I don't know how accurate, medically speaking this show is, but I've learned a lot from it. Episode after episode, the lives of the staff at Chastain Memorial Hospital sink their hooks in me and reel me in, anticipating what comes next. Now if the writers could just do a tiny bit more research about Nigeria when they do Nina's background details, it would be five stars for me.
