Bad writing with inappropriate jokes that dont even land. The main characters are very unlikable and you never connect to them as a couple who was once in love. R Madhavan's character making "comedy" at the expense of poor, working-class people like waiters and maids is extremely cringy. The show tries to seem like an intellectual, quirky take on modern-day divorces but it is miles away from today's ideals and reeks of misogyny and sexism.
If you are looking for a sensitive yet hilarious take on a faltering marriage, watch Family Man in Prime video. I hope Netflix stops backing shows like Decoupled.
