If you look at it in today's perspective a lot of things still apply.The work,home and relationships are all still valid. Gone are all the gory things now on. Your are made to be controlled by what you see. I was also but that was when I was young. people now don't realize it now even while they are old. Great TV show back then, funny and relaxing.
