Intolerably boring. More detail given to meals than the plot. Nothing bad happens to these people. The end of the world is conveniently populated with doctors, pilots, and fully stocked everything. It's the most boring book I have ever touched. Highly highly recommend you to run unless you want to fall asleep dreaming of pies and good recipes after civilization has passed.
