Forever is not a show for the faint of heart. It is not a show that gives you warm fuzzies. What it does do is illustrate the evolution of a relationship, where one partner is oblivious to the tedious rituals of their lives that have caused the other partner to slip into a malaise that appears to be permanent. After bingeing the series over a weekend, it still haunts me and at the same time, sets me free to move forward. Now that's what I'm talking about.
