I don't usually write reviews, but this movie was so terrible that I had to. I want to start by saying that it promotes misogyny. This movie bolsters the idea that a woman must sacrifice her passions in order to have a successful romantic relationship, whereas the man (and his family) are allowed to tweak her in any way which they want. The protagonist of this movie succumbs to this societal expectation, which I personally thought was very backwards. It was also directed horribly and the plot was very weak. We're living in the 21st century; it's time to stop supporting such movies where the heroine, regardless of how talented she may be, is suppressed.
