The storyline is good and i connected with many of the characters, however i found myself struggling to watch the show mainly due to one of the characters (the deaf guy). In the beginning of the series i was able to believe his disability, however throughout the show the actor would either go from not speaking at all but mouthing words, to whispering where you can actually tell he can speak and then he started using this whisper with a lisp? I don’t know, maybe it’s me, but i actually became offended and felt like it was insulting to people who actually have this condition. I haven’t looked up the actor or anything so it’s possible he has the disability and i am just a tough critic? I just really wanted to express this and thought this is a good forum to do so. I am very interested to see where this show goes and what this whole alternate universe is really about.
