AM Patterson (Mouse)

I think if this had been presented as a fictional film, which it is in large part, I might have liked it better. On its own, it's not terrible, although I have some serious questions about how some of the scenes were shot in terms of the safety of the younger actors. But because I have followed the story of OUR and Ballard, I know exactly how much of it is nonsense, which is to say almost all of it.

Based on the first three episodes, this show is breathing a little life back into the franchise. The characters are clearly drawn, complex people and their reactions to situations make sense for their respective personalities. Solid pacing and a great atmosphere and a sense of fun in watching the mothership hadn't had in a long time. It's not without its warts, but they are warts that were present from the inception of this story in TV form so you can either look past them or you can't and if you can't you probably didn't stick with TWD past the first season.
