The bar for this movie was set up high at first, low after the trailer, which in the end helped it a lot. It is not as bad as the trailer made it seem, but it is still pretty bad. It had a lot of great ideas, moments, but all of them got trumped by the even bigger mistakes. The tie to the original Craft was pointless, those 5 minutes could have been used for the girls' character development as I do not know anything besides 1 is new, 1 is quirky, 1 is black and 1 is tall. Wouldn't recommend if you've seen the original, but if you cleaning your house turn it on for the background.

After hearing so many positive things about the movie and Shudder I was more than excited to watch it, but unfortunately it fell off pretty flat. The major issue I have with the movie is pacing, I could not tell how much time had passed from each scene; a day, two days, week? I get that partially it was purposeful yet I could not but concentrate properly and often dozed off from confusion. Another problem is the story itself. It gives off a feeling that it was written for different characters, yet at the end they decided to make the protagonists gays so it would appeal to LGBT audience. Overall a really weak and forgetful movie with no payoff. The end product did not meet the expectations, sadly.

How flat can a movie fall? How exciting can a concept be? I was beyond ecstatic when I heard about mutant horror movie! I've been patiently waiting for the movie to come from its post-production hell, I WANTED this movie to be good! But, is it? NO! There is absolutely no redeeming qualities for this movie; the pacing, the dialogues, the backstories, the visuals, everything was disappointing. Without going deep into what's wrong with a movie, should you watch it? NO! Just read its wikipedia page about the concept and wanted 3 sequels that are never going to happen and imagine the movies yourself.

Very enjoyable movie, yet it is very hard to put the words into it. It's very well done, beautifully shot, written and acted. It's Inception by Cronenberg. There is nothing grotesque, but a really nice look into a life of a future assassin. It was advertised as sci-fi horror, but I think it's more of sci-fi thriller, sci-fi drama. Defiantly give it a go id you're a fan of Cronenbergs. Unfortunately I do think the second half of 2nd act could've been stronger, but I think it's just my opinion. Overall will defiantly give it a second watch!

2 stars because I couldn't finish it, but I hope it gets better. The whole beginning it felt so artificial. The movie is supposed to suck you in and make you feel like you are part of it, but I just felt like I was watching a not very good movie. The neverending intrusions of SpongeBob ,ade an impression that they wanted to make some symbolic meaning of the boy always watching a cartoon, but didn't have enough time to make a special cartoon for the movie, so they settle on SpongeBob. And that's another thing, the movie felt like it was made in a rush. There is nothing particularly bad about it, but there is this strong feeling that it could have been so much more than it is. Anyways, it was boring to me, lack of strong actors and weak beginning. Watch it at your own risk.

What a delightful surprise! With a name "His house" sounding cliche and underwhelming this movie broke all my expectation far and beyond! It is a sad story of a refugee couple trying to assimilate to their new house in London. There is no forced political agenda, nor evil men, nor subliminal propaganda, but a sad story that haunts the main characters and forces a true evil upon the viewer. I highly recommend people to watch it! Great actors, great plot, great visuals! Tiny negative complaints: I thought the movie was too short, I wouldn't mind it to be 2+ hours long. Another thing is I would love to hear more of their native dialect, some scenes felt to be spoken in it rather than in English. Overall I think it's the best horror movie of 2020 so far!

Don't bother. I was hoping on a good ol' feeling of a classic slasher, but it rather fits the B monster movies category. The plot is non-existent outside of Gen Z goes to "rehab" camp. They touch on certain interesting topics, such as homosexuality in Poland, cyber life vs real life, suicide, pop culture (including horror movies and their dumb decisions) etc. but like I mentioned, they just "touch" them once and never return to them again. It had a great potential on paper I bet, but in execution it lacks coherence and reason. Play it on the background if you cleaning the house and don't like silence, you won't even have to glance at the screen. P.S. The soundtrack is awful as well!
