The insight into the beautiful relationship between him and his mother brought tears to my eyes. His musical genius, faith, and always moving toward his goals is an inspiring lesson for everyone. I'm anxiously awaiting part two and beyond.

It was a huge alteration of the original with a completely different spin. If you're looking for/expecting a spinoff type movie of the shining this isn't it.
