War is real. Death is real...not some video game where death is glorified and the player is immortal. There are many good values in a war movie such as this movie and saving private ryan..such as sacrifice, loyalty, service, grit, accountability, responsibility, and many other values. I served during the Viet Nam conflict which was one of the most unpopular wars in America. I think of all of the families who have lost loved ones in all of these wars and we need to understand what they died for and give respect for their ultimate sacrifice. How will future and present generations ever understand this if they don't have a better grasp of the human costs of war that the more accurate movies present? Again, war is not a game!
