If you have watched JW 1,2 and 3 the fourth chapter is an absolute must. Somehow this enduring series had to find closure, and the fourth chapter is an exquisite finale. The settings and filming are fabulous, in fact, a driving and visual force that brings JW and his thousands of adversaries to a fitting end. There are significant criticisms of this franchise, and this last part, but I think the director and producer are way in front of their time: they have set in foundation a new genre that goes well past action adventure, thriller, etc. The new evolution is yet to be fully understood, it is simply a revenge genre, masterfully staged with a seeming to be an invincible single force that conquers all to a point that is past possible, yet the narrative continues to be just that. This chapter is an apt conclusion and although it is meaningless in one way, in another the series is all about finding peace and atonement for crimes against you that need to be addressed. It is a metaphor to suggest that eternal struggle against all that challenges us, and all that makes our lives question who we are and what we represent. If you represent justice, then you will appreciate this final chapter.
