I finished reading this gem piece of historical exposé. Apart from its rich insights, there's a certain beauty in the expressions of the writer.
Lindqvist tells you what you might already know, but he takes you on a journey of incisive revelations and does it in his own unique perspective and analysis that makes it very uncomfortable for those in denial.
He acknowledges that some of these things you may already know...
"You already know enough. So do I. It is not knowledge we lack. What is missing is the courage to understand what we know and to draw conclusions."
This book adds to the collection of books that is required reading for every black man (alongside other gems like the Autobiography of Malcolm X), for it beefs up one's sense of awareness, one's sense of history, one's sense of relationship with other humans especially those that don't look like you.
