Love Quaid as Ensign Brad Boimler in Star Trek Lower Decks, and so I went to see this movie. Genuinely entertaining; however, I felt like it was a cheap knockoff of Deadpool. Good way to spend an afternoon or evening with friends looking for a laugh, but be sure the sight of blood or gore doesn't bother you.

What a TERRIBLE movie! With such awesome special effects and the gripping true stoey, what could go wrong? The acting! The characters were played as goofy stereotypes, and the lines they were given were corny and ridiculous. It made the whole movie seem like a joke. The character Dick Best was cringeworthy. Such a waste. This could have been a great movie! Only Woody Harrelson did an acceptable job as Nimitz. The actors who portrayed the Japanese were far better.
