i grew up with the wilson/sheffield families. the most amazing, honourable, loving people have ever known......the museum is such an incredible work of love and dedication and i feel so blessed and honoured to have seen what my friends carolyn and sylvia have done. i feel so ashamed that they were treated so badly by people and that their dad died too because of the colour of his skin. i grew up thinking that they all were treated the same as me, as a white person and it breaks my heart to now know otherwise. yvonne was the most incredible, wonderful , loving human being god ever created and put on this earth...always there to offer a shoulder, some guidance, love and hugs. i will never ever forget her and she has always had a big place in my heart. she has passed but i always think of her and how much she helped me. happy to see this story come to be...long gong over due for sure.
