Jane Perkins

I read the first book, which this movie was an odd combo of the first and second books. The movie seemed to lack sufficient character development, but then again I read the first book, so that might be the reason behind my negativity towards the movie. In the book, Artemis is painted as a villain. This movie tries to paint him as the hero the entire time. The book tells the story more from Holly’s perspective. This movie goes from The dwarf’s. I felt the movie just lacked any sort of cohesiveness, character development was weak, and the story was not depicted well.
