Movie is unique and well done great story. Watching it again for the second time.

(may contain some spoilers) The Matrix Trilogy are my 3 favorite movies of all time. Now this Matrix Resurrections 2021 was unbelievably not good. The first 70% of the movie is basically showing you hey remember the first film and how cool it was remember. You see countless highlight reels also of literally footage from the old movies. I give this new matrix a solid 5 out of 10. The only thing that made it a 5 out 10 for me was when they were in one of the cities outside the Matrix and some of the new machines and things like that. Morpheus was no longer Morpheus, I would have been ok with him being part machine but his whole Morpheus vibe was just not Morpheus. They over used the term "bullet time". When they brought back old villains like the Merovingian it was mockable, I almost thought I was watching a parody movies for a second. Also not that it was a big deal to me but the color from the old films had a green n silver kinda look this new one just didn't flow especially when they showed literally clips from the old film and then back to the new film. I was looking forward to seeing this movie but I honestly still can't believe how bad it was, it feels like the director intentionally made the film bad. 5/10 probably could be a lower rating but there it is watch it one time if you can and that's it. Now when you tell people you love the Matrix you have to clarify "The trilogy not the new one." :-)

Movie was great spoiler alert Goro could’ve had a better introduction and was killed off way too easy but it was cool how he died. Highlight feature in this movie for me was the whole Sub Zero and Scorpion story. Fight scenes were awesome great Fatalities. Rayden would have been cooler if his eyes weren’t glowing all the time. All in all great movie I hope they continue making Mortal Kombat films...we need more😎✊🏾✊🏾
