Having just watched the "Carson House" episode "On Demand," I was disturbed by the disagreement over the hand rails on the front steps. I lost my father as a result of a fall that was because he had no hand rail to hang on to. Whatever the "codes" are, I feel there should be hand rails wherever there are steps.
